Last Shelter Survival: Hospitals & Healing Tips – Increasing Capacity and Speed

Last Shelter Survival Tips, Tricks and Strategy: Couple of Last Shelter Survival Hospital and Healing tips and tricks…

When you go into battle and your troops get wounded, you will need to have room for them in the hospital. Troops that can’t fit into your hospital will die and you will have to retrain. As this is expensive, here are a few tips to maximize your hospital size…

As a recommendation, you should probably have at least 1/3 of your total troop capacity available in your Last Shelter Survival hospital. For example, if you have 300,000 troops, you should have capacity for at least 100,000 in the hospital. Many people would recommend higher hospital capacity if you are a heavy combat player. You can find your troop and hospital capacity by viewing the Commander Info screen (crossed guns at the top of your screen) and look at the Total Units and Hospital values.

Here are a couple of things you can do to increase the Hospital Capacity:

  • Upgrade all of your Last Shelter Survival Hospitals to the maximum level.
  • Research heavily in “Improved Medical Facilities“. This decreases the cost of healing, improves healing speed, increases capacity and will give you an extra hospital to place.
  • There are 3 heroes you can station to increase healing and hospital capacity: Frontline Medic (Orange), The Avenger (Blue), and Head Nurse (Green). You can station them and unlock/raise their skills. I have not found a purple hero for hospitals yet.
  • If you are training troops but don’t need them yet, leave them in their training facilities.  I do not think they consume resources until they’ve left the facility.
